Doggy Muffins

Your dog deserves a special treat. Here’s an easy, dog-safe muffin recipe that both you and your pup can enjoy.
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup xylitol-free peanut butter
- ¼ cup cooking oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup shredded oats
- 1 cup whole wheat or white flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease and grease six cups of a cupcake tin
- In a large bowl, mix together the egg, peanut butter, oil, and vanilla. Once blended, stir in the carrots.
- Whisk together the flour and baking soda in a separate bowl and fold into the batter until combined.
- Evenly disperse the batter across the six cupcake tins and bake for 40 minutes
- Let the cakes cool for 10 minutes before removing from the tin. Allow them to cool completely on a wire rack or countertop before serving to your pup!
