Fleet Captain Gregg Kleiner, affectionately known as our “Chief Sass Officer,” brings an infectious energy and quick wit to our team. His sharp humor and lively banter have made him a cherished presence among staff. At home, he shares his space with Bella, his equally spirited feline companion, who ensures he’s always kept on his toes!

Despite being one of Petfleet’s newest members, Gregg wasted no time diving into our community. His enthusiasm and leadership are evident in his work proofreading and editing the newsletter. He is also instrumental in fostering a strong and collaborative relationship with SFA.

Beyond Petfleet, Gregg serves aboard the USS Renaissance in Region 13 as Chief of Operations, assisting various departments and the bridge staff. He also serves as STARFLEET Medical’s Stepper-in-Chief helping organize the permanent step challenge. His unwavering dedication to STARFLEET was further recognized with his recent promotion to Dean of the Institute of Star Trek Studies (IOSTS) at the STARFLEET Fandom Academy (SFA)—a testament to his commitment to education and excellence.
