Perfect for those scorching summer days, this recipe ensures that your four-legged friend can join in on the fun and stay cool. So, let’s blend up some puppy-friendly margaritas and make this summer a memorable one for our pets! Here is the recipe going viral on social media!
Ingredients
- Cucumber
- Lactose-free yogurt or applesauce
- Bone broth
- Ice
- Optional: Crushed up treats and/or kibble
Step 1: Blend the ingredients
In a blender, combine cucumber slices, ice, bone broth and yogurt or applesauce (all of which are safe for dogs!) and blend. Make sure you blend the ingredients until they reach a smooth consistency.
Step 2: Prepare a margarita glass
If you have a margarita glass, you can easily dress up this Pawgerita for your pup. All you’ll need is to dip the glass rim in yogurt. Then, crush dog treats or kibble into crumbs, place the crumbs on a dish and roll the glass rim in it. The crumbs will easily stick to the yogurt-covered rim.
You can even add a cucumber on the side of the glass for more pup pizzazz!
Step 3: Pour and serve!
From there, all you need to do is pour the blender contents into the margarita glass and it’s ready to serve!
