SFPet Academy Course Challenges – Echinoderms
IBE Echinoderms
February 1st 2025 – April 30th 2025
This quarter we will be featuring four (4) new courses.
Echinoderms, like starfish and sea urchins, are fascinating ocean dwellers with unique radial symmetry and spiny skin. They use tube feet and a water vascular system to move efficiently. These creatures play crucial roles in marine ecosystems: sea stars help maintain balance as key predators, while sea cucumbers aid in nutrient cycling. Additionally, echinoderms indicate environmental health, reflecting changes in ocean conditions. Let’s appreciate these remarkable marine creatures!
