1) Major Projects/Efforts 

STARFLEET Petfleet continued to celebrate our 20th Anniversary with the successful launch of our new website and Quartermaster products. Among the featured items are a special 20th Anniversary Coin and a Comm Badge showcasing the classic delta with a paw print at the center. These products, along with other offerings, have been well received by members, resulting in $769.50 in sales, covering 64% of our $1,195.90 funding goal. Popular sales include:

• 16 Delta Paw Stickers
• 14 Retro Stickers
• 13 SFPet Holographic Stickers
• 9 SFP Logo Patches

The STARFLEET Petfleet newsletter was published on February 2nd, highlighting a variety of articles and initiatives. This edition featured content on the New Academy Challenge, the Pet Service Award presented to Bean, a celebration of Jess Odell from Member Services, an article on Highland Cows, and a selection of pet treat recipes. February also saw the successful launch of the Cutest Pet Photo Contest, which brought in numerous adorable submissions from our members. Meanwhile, we were delighted to see the full recovery of Bo of Borg after a concerning eye infection and swollen lymph nodes, bringing relief to many who had followed his journey.

In an effort to strengthen our community, we encouraged more members to officially set their SFI Affiliation for Petfleet by visiting the [SFI Database Affiliation Page]. As a result, our membership has grown to 213 members officially associated with Petfleet. Additionally, Jess Odell shared an engaging article about Border Collies and their remarkable scent detection abilities, outperforming traditional hunting dogs in a scientific competition.

We also reminded members about the importance of registering their pets and reporting their Final Mission to the Rainbow Bridge to receive a Final Mission certificate in honour of their pet’s service with STARFLEET Petfleet. Ensuring our beloved companions are recognized remains an essential part of our mission.

Looking ahead, a new event, [Project Earth], hosted by STARFLEET Auxiliaries, is set to take place on Saturday, April 26th, 2025. Members interested in participating can find more details at the provided link. In addition, we encouraged continued engagement in the [Conqueror Virtual Challenge], inviting members to get active alongside their pets as part of the ongoing Petfleet Walking Challenge.

Lastly, discussions sparked around [Petfleet Pet Ranks], as members explored the ranking system and shared questions and thoughts on how their pets fit into STARFLEET. This ongoing conversation continues to bring our community together in fun and engaging ways.

2) Issues/Problems No major issues or problems to report. One Liaison initially considered resigning due to shifting priorities but ultimately decided to remain with SFPet, reaffirming their commitment. A continued focus on recruiting Liaisons for unrepresented regions is recommended moving forward.

3) Resources Needed STARFLEET Petfleet will be focusing on recruiting additional Liaisons from each region to strengthen our representation. This initiative will be a priority in March and April.

4) February 2025 Accomplishments

February was a successful month for STARFLEET Petfleet, with our Quartermaster products generating $769.50 in sales, covering 64% of our $1,195.90 funding goal. We also celebrated another successful publication of the STARFLEET Petfleet Newsletter on February 2nd, 2025, bringing members the latest updates and stories. Throughout the month, engagement continued to grow as more members participated in events, challenges, and discussions, strengthening our community and shared mission.

Overall, February was a productive and successful month for STARFLEET Petfleet. We look forward to continuing our efforts in March and beyond!
