The crew undergoes de-evolution due to a virus. Spot plays an important role as she has given birth to kittens, and Data discovers that Spot, unlike the other crew members, has not been affected by the virus. This discovery helps Data find a cure for the condition.
S7/E25-26 “All Good Things…”
Data’s pet cats are featured in the future timeline. During a visit to Data’s home, Picard and La Forge notice several cats sitting on chairs and shelves, showcasing Data’s affection for animals.
