STARFLEET Petfleet hosts a monthly photo contest, open for 10-14 days each month. Each contest has a specific theme that participants must follow when submitting their photos.
Here are some example themes for the STARFLEET Petfleet photo contest:
- Holidays & Special Days: New Year’s pets, National Pet Day, or Rainbow Bridge Day to honour past pets.
- Dress-Up & Cosplay: Star Wars-themed pets, Captain Picard Day, or pets in any STARFLEET costume.
- Action & Fun: Pets in action, silly snapshots of goofy pets, or “do-no-wrong” cutest moments.
- Creative & Unique: Pet twins (pets and owners looking alike), adopt a Tribble, or pets with funny captions in speech bubbles.
When can I enter?
Contest dates will be posted on the STARFLEET Petfleet website and Facebook Group, with all dates and times based on the Eastern Time Zone.
Who can enter?
Any registered STARFLEET member with a STARFLEET Petfleet registered pet can enter; if you are not a member or haven’t registered your pet, you cannot participate.
How are winners chosen?
Judges score photos based on the theme and picture quality, and may include past winners, Petfleet command staff, or both.
What do winners get?
Winners will be featured on the STARFLEET Petfleet website and as the Facebook Group cover photo, and will be invited to judge the next photo contest.
How many photos can I enter?
One entry per pet.
May I enter a photo that I entered in a previous contest?
You may NOT enter any photo that was a winner in a previous SFPet Photo Contest.
Does the pet have to be a Petfleet member?Yes, only registered Petfleet pets can enter; if you need help registering (which is free for STARFLEET members), we can assist, and the
registration form is located here.
Can I enter a photo taken by someone else or of someone else’s pet?
No, the photo must be of your registered Petfleet pet; someone else can help take the picture, but it must be of your pet, not a random or online image.
Do I need to enter a photo taken during the contest period?
Photos can be taken at any time, they do not need to be taken during the active contest.
Extra Information:
By entering, you give Petfleet permission to use your photo in the winner’s post and as the cover image; this contest is not associated with Facebook or Discord, and there is no physical or monetary prize.
