Members can subscribe to the SFPet Newsletter, “Pet Tails from the Final Frontier,” which is published quarterly around the first of February, May, August and November. Members are encouraged to share their stories, articles, photos, and videos with the SFPetNewsletter so that they might be considered for publication.
Share your companion’s stories and adventures in the “Tails from the Final Frontier” newsletter. We welcome original submissions like articles, creative writing, opinions, suggestions, photos, and artwork. Keep written submissions to 2,000 words or less, but if you have more to share, contact our STARFLEET Petfleet Editor-In-Chief through the Contact Us Form.

STARFLEET PETFLEET NEWS (Tails from the Final Frontier) welcomes original submissions from any member of STARFLEET The International Star Trek Fan Association, Inc., as well as from any PETFLEET member.
What We’re Looking For:
- Articles about you and your furry companion at Chapter, regional, or fleet events.
- Articles about other animals either at your local animal shelter or the latest addition at your local zoo.
- Articles about opportunities and/or resources for PETFLEET members and Star Trek fans in general.
- Articles about important issues for our PETFLEET members.
- Reviews on pet-related products.
- Opinions, Comments, and Suggestions on what you would like to see take place or happen in PETFLEET.
- Original photographs of your furry companion at chapter, regional or fleet events–including members, activities and items of interest.
- Original photographs of famous Star Trek and/or science fiction celebrities with their furry companions.
- Original drawings, cartoons, schematics or other printable artwork.
Please limit any written submissions to 2,000 words or fewer, unless you have first requested permission from the Starfleet PetFleet News Editor for a larger submission.
